Description of Work:

As a Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) team, specializing in the Engineering and Procurement phases of desalination plant projects. We are seeking a candidate with a background in chemical engineering and extensive proven experience in reverse osmosis technology for desalination plants.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization: Utilize your expertise in chemical engineering and reverse osmosis technology to optimize the desalination process for efficiency and performance.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure that the desalination plant’s performance and output consistently meet or exceed established quality standards.
• Supplier Engagement: Foster strong relationships with suppliers of desalination technology, negotiate contracts, and manage expectations to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality components.
• Design Compliance: Ensure that the engineering designs for the desalination plant align with project requirements, industry codes, and stringent quality standards.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential process-related risks and develop strategies to mitigate their impact on project outcomes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
   

Key Requirements:

To excel in this role as a Process Engineer with a focus on desalination, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in desalination plant projects utilizing reverse osmosis technology.
• Reverse Osmosis Expertise: In-depth knowledge of reverse osmosis processes, technologies, and equipment used in seawater and brackish water desalination projects (SWRO).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with advanced process engineering tools, methodologies, and software applications used in the process industry.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex process-related issues.
• Client Focus: A commitment to delivering client-centric solutions and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
